This book is apart of my own dream. I have always enjoyed creative writing and the arts. I always believed that one day I would write a book for children. I am proud to be able to inspire and spread the message of hope to all young people. As an educator in today’s society, I feel that there is a great need for the teaching of morals and faith. Ebony is an egg. An egg represents the beginning of life. It is so important to teach children early that they are very special and uniquely created. I advise parents to keep their children active and expose them to the arts and culture. Encourage them to dream. Instill in your children that there is nothing too hard for God and all they have to do is trust and believe in God.

Ebony’s Award Winning Quiche Recipe
Ingredients:9inch frozen pie shell, 3 beaten eggs, 1 cup milk, 3/4 cup diced meat (Choose from: cooked ham, bacon, sausage or ground turkey), 1/2 cup diced green onions, (Choose from: green peppers or chopped spinach), 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, salt and black pepper to taste.
You will also need:9-inch pie plate
Large wooden spoon
Large mixing bowl
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ingredients.
Pour ingredients into pie shell.
Bake for about 30 minutes until the quiche is light golden brown on top and puffed.Eat and Enjoy!
Pursue Your Passion!
The Lord had blessed Ebony with the ability to cook tasty foods. Ebony felt in her spirit that she needed to follow her passion, which was cooking. We should all learn from Ebony. Remember to use the gifts that God has blessed us with to be a blessing to others.
Ebony wants to help you discover your gifts. Take some time to answer the following questions:
What makes you happy?
What do you like to do the most?
Have you thought about what you want to do when you grow up?
What tools or skills will you need to accomplish your goals?
Activity Draw a self-portrait of yourself doing your most favorite thing or draw a symbol that represents your talents or the things you like to do. If you can’t think of anything pray about it and ask God to lead you in the direction that he wants you to go! It’s that simple! Put your drawing in a special place where you can see it everyday and use it as a reminder of working towards your life's goals!
